Overview

FamSphere is designed to help families coordinate daily life with clarity, structure, and trust. The app focuses on private, family-only workflows such as goals, responsibilities, calendars, reminders, and family chat.

FamSphere is not a public social network and is not designed for discovery, advertising, or communication outside your family group.

FamSphere is built to keep your family data private. We do not sell personal data and do not run advertising or behavioral tracking.

Apple infrastructure
Data is stored using Apple iCloud and CloudKit services associated with your Apple ID. Data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to the developer.

Data we collect

  • Family profiles: display name, role (parent or child), and optional avatar or color.
  • Goals and responsibilities: titles, milestones, points, status, approvals, and history.
  • Calendar items: event titles, dates, times, notes, recurrence, and reminders.
  • Family chat: messages, timestamps, and basic message flags.
  • App preferences: settings that control app behavior on your device.
FamSphere does not require a separate account. Access and sharing are based on your Apple ID and iCloud configuration.

Data we do not collect

  • No advertising identifiers
  • No sale of personal information
  • No public profiles or discovery
  • No cross-app or cross-site tracking
  • No background location tracking
  • No third-party analytics services

Track creation, approvals, points, and progress.

Show schedules and trigger reminders you choose.

Parent and child permissions.

Notifications

FamSphere may send optional notifications for chat messages, goal updates, and calendar reminders such as 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, or 1 day.

Notifications can be managed or disabled at any time in iOS Settings.

Security

FamSphere relies on Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit security, including encryption in transit and at rest. We do not bypass Apple security protections.

We recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your Apple ID.

Children’s privacy

FamSphere is designed for families, including children, within private family groups. Parents manage membership and permissions.

Data retention and deletion

Data is stored as long as your family uses the app or until it is deleted. Users can delete their data directly within the app or by removing the app’s iCloud data from iOS Settings.
